Short and Sweet

Yea I know it's been 4 months since my last post. I also know that so much has happened in that 4 months that there is no way I'm going to recap all of it and do it justice. So instead I'm going to do it as one giant sentence all in 1 breath kind of like an auctioneer. So here we go in chronological order, since my last post. I signed up for IM Canada 2010, started my new job as Clinical Coordinator for pharmacy, turned 46,went to the Galapagos for the 2nd time, had surgery on my left shoulder,Happy birthday Jayne,Happy Thanksgiving, started rehab on my shoulder(ouch),back to work,Merry Christmas, ran outside, rode bike on trainer, ran on treadmill, saw Avatar,Happy New Year. So now that we are all caught up I will try to get back in the habit of posting things on here. As this new year begins Jayne and I have alot going on. Our friend Casey has begun destroying our basement in preparation for a makeover. He ripped the old basalt rock off of the fireplace which we will replace with something. Have not made any final decisions yet. We are also going to rip out the carpet and Casey is going to stain the concrete, that's what he does for a living. We are also beginning our training for IM Canada on August 29th. My training right now consists of some very slow running and some time on the trainer, I won't be able to swim until probably April, doc say May,but we will see. This IM will be fun because not only are Jayne and I doing but we talked the Hobbit in to signing up as well. He has just begun going to Masters swim a couple of time a week. That will be his greatest challenge of his prep for IM as he has never been a swimmer. Well that and 100 mile bike rides. He will have to stop and find a spruce tree to crap under about every 30-40 miles. Somethings wrong with him, seriously.
Anyway Happy New Year to everyone, I hope you all have a great and productive year!

I am glad to see that you have completed your time in the penalty box and are back on the grid.

Perhaps I need to get back into masters swimming. With the Hobbit swimming this could be my chance to actually beat someone.

Happy New Year to both you and Jayne.

Keep rocking!
